Chapter 10, Part 2

 

Halloween ranks second to Christmas Eve as my favorite night of the year, though kids roaming door to door seeking candy is practically a memory in my hometown. But years ago, that was not so. On this particular night, the last group of young trick-or-treaters stopped by about eight-thirty. I left my porch light on until nine, then switched it off. I settled down into my comfortable lounge chair to watch a scary movie, one of my treasured traditions.

When he first started sending me chapters of his memoir about Joshua, Eric told me he’d be including flashbacks to adolescent slave-time incidents with his friends Logan and Dylan and their cousin Graham. The first time he sent a flashback, I strongly felt it should come after the Joshua section of the chapter, and managed to convince Eric of that. This time the flashback seems more appropriate to me coming first, and not only because Part 2 of this chapter, the Joshua section, happened on Halloween. I’ll post that section on Sunday, which is close enough to the big day.

 

Chapter 10, Part 1
Flashback

I enjoyed when Logan and Dylan’s cousin Graham came to visit, which happened at least one weekend per month when the boys were in high school. Even though he was three years younger, Graham and I had become quite close. One weekend in early spring of my freshman year in college, the four of us pitched our large tent by the big pond near Logan’s house. We camped out often because we loved the outdoors, but more importantly camping provided us with an opportunity to play our bondage games.

Joshua’s next visit was a bit earlier than usual. He arrived under cover of darkness, but it was early evening. I could tell right away something was different.

Eric Tide has lived perhaps the most active bondage life of anyone who’s ever written to me. He started sending me his memoirs in 2010, when he described his introduction to bondage at the age of six by a neighbor boy. He went on from there, over the next four and a half years, to recount his experiences in high school as the bdsm slave of his best friend Logan, and Logan’s younger brother Dylan. That particular slave/masters relationship went on for many years, continuing well beyond high school.

 

At a certain point Eric decided he had written enough about Logan and Dylan, and stopped, much to the dismay of many readers. Then, despite my whining and wheedling, he sent me nothing for posting for a year and a half. Finally, early this year, he told me that while he didn’t want to write more about the brothers, he would tell me about another bondage/sm relationship he had had, beginning in his late twenties, with a boy barely out of his teens, named Joshua.

Three straight nights, Joshua made me strip to my underwear and lay belly down on the living room floor. He hogtied my hands to my ankles and spread a patch of duct tape over my mouth. Then he sat on the sofa resting his bare feet on my back while he rummaged through boxes of bondage stuff taken from my guest bedroom closet. He looked at pictures, read articles ripped from magazines, and examined various bondage items he found.

Interview with Eric Tide

The “interview” that follows derives from a difference of opinion between Eric and me over the posting of the two-part Chapter 6 of Joshua. Eric’s Part 1, which he sent me first, was what subsequently became Part 2: the story of Dylan’s fascination over a picture of a guy in stocks, the making of the stocks by Logan and their first use by the two brothers. There was no mention in Part 1 of Joshua at all. I was bewildered. It was as if an unpublished chapter from David Copperfield had suddenly popped up in the middle of Great Expectations.

 

When I said this to Eric he told me to wait for Part 2, and of course when Part 2 arrived a few days later, everything became clear. But I was unhappy about posting the chapter in Eric’s order, and suggested that he either write a short intro to his preferred Part 1 (“Before I continue my story of Joshua…”) or simply juxtapose the two parts, in which case no explanation would be needed. Eric eventually did accept my suggestion, if reluctantly. He preferred to place the sections in their original chronological order.

 

“Readers should be able to figure out the connections without insulting their intelligence,” he wrote.

 

I replied that it had nothing to do with insulting anyone’s intelligence; that while I loved both parts, my initial reaction to the confusing placement of the two parts—misplacement, I felt—especially without prior warning—was one of annoyance, a feeling of being played with by the writer, which risked me losing sympathy with him. I didn’t care how he’d place future “flashbacks”, as long as people were prepared for them to happen.

 

This mollified Eric, who told me he intended to use a lot of flashbacks during the series.

Some of the flashbacks have a direct connection to my Joshua experiences, as should be clear in this first one. But others will seem less direct. I still want to include them, though, because I want to continue bringing in my time with Logan, Dylan, and [their cousin] Graham without the slowly developing, chronological saga I had been writing.

Part 2: Flashback

The cool tile floor soothed my feet as I strolled down the hallway drying my hair. My reddened shoulders stung a bit from spending the day in the sun in my bathing suit. As I passed Dylan’s bedroom, I noticed the door was cracked open. I stopped and peeped in quietly. I draped the towel over my bare shoulders and watched him for a while, unnoticed.

 

He was such a beautiful kid. Well proportioned. Keenly athletic. Strong but not ripped. Bright hazel eyes. Silky, well-trimmed dirty blond hair. Wonderful deep brown skin that was impeccably smooth and evenly tanned. Absolutely exquisite toes. I could stare at his body all day, and I often got the chance. Logan, Dylan, and I had spent all day on the lake in their uncle’s boat fishing and skiing. We were worn out.

 

Reclining on his bed in his underwear, Dylan had already showered. The covers were pulled down, and he lay on top with pillows between his back and the headboard. His gorgeous feet were crossed. He often made me lick them, and I pretended not to like it. He thumbed through a bondage magazine taken from my stash, but he stopped browsing to focus his attention on one special picture. Dylan’s dick was stiff. He scratched himself and rubbed the cotton briefs over his erection. He gazed at the picture for several minutes. I loved the view.

Part 1

 

Joshua stopped by mid-afternoon, which was highly unusual since he ordinarily came late at night. It was the fifth of July and hot as blazes. He wore beige shorts, flip-flops, and a white short-sleeved shirt dampened with sweat and unbuttoned to bare his chest.

 

He sat on the sofa, told me to get him a glass of Coke, and made himself at home. He had been passing by, saw my vehicle in the driveway, and decided to stop in to cool off. He was quite relaxed, hardly saying a word. I stared at him in awkward silence.

Chapter 5

 

Joshua locked the front door behind him and wasted no time.

 

“Take off all your clothes.”

 

I stripped naked, laying my clothes across       the back of the wingback chair in the corner of my living room. He got some rope from the bedroom and tied my hands behind my back, crossing my wrists. He pulled off his tennis shoes, stuffed one of his socks in my mouth, and taped it in place. He spread a ratty old quilt over the love seat and ordered me to kneel on it, facing the back of the seat, with my head tucked down. He spread my legs far apart.

Chapter 4

 

As soon as I let him in and closed the door, Joshua grabbed me by the arm and hauled me back to the bedroom. He made me take off my shirt, then tied my hands behind my back. He spread an old blanket over the bed as protective cover, then made me lay face up with my feet towards the foot of the bed.

Chapter 3

 

Several months had passed since I last heard from Joshua, but late one spring night, he showed up again. This time, he was far different than I had seen him before. As soon as I switched on the porch light, I noticed the worry in his eyes. He seemed weary as if he hadn’t slept in days. His boyish face revealed a heavy burden, as if he carried the weight of the world on his shoulders.

 

“Can I come in?” he asked.

Chapter 2

I was half asleep in my lounge chair when the late night knock came at my door. I knew exactly who it was. I switched on the porch light and invited Joshua in, but he pushed past me and ordered me to get the ropes. He was all business.

After a silence of over a year and a half, Eric just sent me the first chapter of a new work he wrote, describing his long bondage relationship with a young man named Joshua. He wondered if I had any photos to use with the story. The ones I include were the best I could find at short notice. As with many stories published over the years in Bound & Gagged, the ones I use here are intended more to accompany the story than to illustrate it.

Chapter 1

 

When I first met Joshua, he was eighteen and I was ten years older, but we both looked younger than our true ages. Despite his youth, he had been around the block a few times and was quite experienced with bondage. It didn’t take me long to figure that out. I prefer to keep the details private about how we came to know each other. What’s important is that I agreed to let him own me whenever he wanted.

Interview with Eric Tied

The conclusion of Chapter 46 left me and a number of readers wanting more. I couldn’t let Eric just abandon us—and his story—with that. He and I exchanged a bunch of emails afterwards. Using Eric's words only, I post the substance of them now, in the form of an interview.

 

BW. I had the impression, when you sent me chapter 45, and throughout most of chapter 46, that what happened between you and Dylan marked the end of your experiences as the brothers’ slave. But then came those final paragraphs in Chapter 46, describing what took place two months later, on the eve of your birthday. That took me by surprise and left me wondering.

 

ET. Dylan did indeed make my eighteenth birthday one to remember.
