In 2014, Lee and I realized we would never have funding enough to relaunch Bound & Gagged. We then offered it up for sale, and had a few nibbles, but no serious bites. So we’re now consigned to the idea that the magazine will henceforth live only in history.
As we prepare to sell our Bucks County farmhouse and move back to New York City full time (we’ve reached that age), we’re divesting ourselves of as much excess property as possible. Some of that property consists of my personal archive issues of Bound & Gagged, a few
copies of which I set aside after every issue came out. With the exception of issues 16, 35 and 38, which are
completely and mysteriously absent from the archive and of which I myself only possess a battered copy or two, I’m selling, for $100 apiece, the rarest of the out-of-print issues, most of which became impossible to find almost as soon as they were published. These Issues are Numbers 1, 8, 13, 14, 15, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and 32. All of the others, through our last issue, No. 106, I’ll sell for $25 apiece plus shipping
and handling.
Lee suggested I offer to autograph the archive issues I sell, for all who request that, which I’ll be happy to do.
Some of the special issues quickly became very rare, too. Photo Album 3 disappeared from view almost as soon as it went on the stands. I’ll sell that almost unfindable issue for $150. For the other rare ones, notably the Bound & Gagged Classics 1, 2 and 3, Pledges &
Paddles 1 and 2, and Bondage Recruits, I’m asking $100 apiece. The others: Classic Bound & Gagged 4, Pledges and Paddles 3 and 4, Photo Albums 1 and 2, Tops & Robbers, Room Servitude and The Bound & Gagged Bedside Companion, I’ll let go for $50
apiece.
Shipping and handling for all these issues in the continental U.S. will be, as always, $7.60 for the first item, $2.50 for each additional item included in the same package. They will all be sent insured, unless buyers specifically request that I not
insure them.
