Unnatural Born Problem

 

Many of you have told me how much you enjoyed my second ebook, Natural Born Slave. Thanks to one and all for your kind words.

 

Yesterday I was made aware of a problem regarding that book for which I could really use your help.

 

Despite the good sales we had until a few days ago, Natural Born Slave has so far received only a single rating and, sadly, it could not be a worse one. What is dismaying is that the reader’s review accompanying the rating has almost nothing to do with the quality of the stories in the book, about which he is highly complimentary, but rather with a technical issue he had with his Kindle itself.

Kindle version of this book has errors — Do Not Buy

The stories are very good and full of BDSM events. The problem is that the Kindle Edition is very bad. Stories are incomplete in the latter half of the book. After I purchased it, it refused to open. I had to download it again to read a few more pages. Then it froze up so I had to repeat the process. When I finished a chapter, it wouldn't let me open the next one. I shut off my Kindle & upon rebooting it the next day, it wouldn't let me open the book. It gave me an error message that DRM preve?btw [sic] it from opening. So I had to delete it from my device and then re download it again so I could read the next chapter.Very Disappointed.

 

I wonder what the experience has been for those of you who’ve purchased Natural Born Slave. Have you had electronic problems, found incomplete stories, been stymied by technical issues that interfered with your reading pleasure on whatever electronic device you used? If so, I wish you’d tell me. If not, I’d be very grateful if you went and rated the book on Amazon, and then wrote a review—especially if you liked it. That single reader’s review has had a devastating effect on sales, and will continue to do so until it’s countered by positive reviews from readers who've had happier experiences.

 

Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

The only trouble I had downloading the ebook was trying to find it, on Amazon I was looking for "Natural Born Slave", like you name it in this post but When I finally found it, it was listed as "Natural Slave", like on the cover of the ebook.

Oops! My fault, as I told another reader who just pointed out the same thing. The book is, of course, "Natural Slave", not "Natural Born Slave." I don't know what was going on in my head when I wrote that blog entry. Too much social distancing from myself.
