Two Bound Guys

Bound & Gagged held four bondage photo contests from the years 2000 through 2005, and we got many great submissions. I no longer remember who the actual winners were (I guess I could look that up), but looking over the photos now I wonder how it was sometimes possible to choose a winner at all, so many of the entries were so good.

Lost Bondage Stories - 25

For that unpublished book, two experiences one guy wrote me about, in response to the New York Bondage Club questionnaire I sent to all potential members (the club even had a mail-order membership and classified roster for bondage-hungry guys who might never get to New York). Rereading the first experience, I wish again it was possible to find listings by and reviews for good professional bondage tops, since the older we get the less likely we are to find non-professionals interested in giving what so many of us need. If any readers here have met with good bondage professionals, please write me about them.

 

“WE PROCEEDED TO A BASEMENT DUNGEON...”

 

My experiences started out & have been primarily as S&M trips, which have included bondage (but not elaborate) and I don’t think it was primary in the top’s mind. I haven’t had enough experiences to tell. I read as many mags as I can getmy hands on but there don’t seem to be that many bondage stories. I do know that I get real turned on as soon as I see or read about some guy getting his cock & balls tied up & restrained or weighted. Seeing the guys bound up in the Inferno mag — one tied to what looked like a large water wheel — others upside down on crosses, another in the middle of a web, another suspended from a cross in mid air — most w/o clothes — was almost more than I could take.

Bondage Photos for a Snowy Day

I've been using Mac computers ever since issue 3 or 4 of Bound & Gagged (I started the magazine on a Kaypro—has anyone ever heard of those?!!) and have always found them very user friendly and reliable. But I have to admit that my latest laptop, which I recently upgraded to the pretentious sounding Yosemite, has proven to be a real lemon. In the three years I've had it, it's had to go back twice to have the hard drive replaced, and right now it's lying in some Apple hospital having its keyboard replaced, one whole row of keys having died on me. In any case, I dug my former laptop out of a dusty drawer, plugged it in and, miracle of miracles, it still seems to be working, even if the battery's stone dead; but I'm told the battery won't explode on me, and I've even found some photos on this one that I don't remember having seen on the other; maybe I never transferred them over.

 

The first of the batch I offer here (above), received years ago from a reader, is the only one I've ever had of someone tied up in the snow. I can't think of anything less appealing. To me even being tied up and unable to cover myself in a chilly room is torture. But as the snow piles up outside (5 inches so far as far as I can tell, from its height on a patio table) I offer it to those of you who get off on such things—I know some people do.

Lost Bondage Stories - 24

Sorry, no pics to accompany these two stories from my unpublished book, though I can't help wishing the totally immoral photographer who sent in the first had sent me the photos from his first shoot, just for my personal enjoyment. I never suspected what so many supposedly professional photographers get up to, though to judge by the stories I've received from them, I shouldn't be so naive.

 

PICTURE TIME

 

My reputation for being great with knots has had its amusing moments. A couple of attractive clones hired me once to do a photo set of them. Both are exhibitionists who, in addition to waiting tables, supplement their incomes by stripping at “Ladies’” nights at various bars. They have swimmers’ builds, blond moustaches, and it’s difficult to imagine that either of them is a top.

I'd sent out notices about launching the magazine to every gay newspaper I could find, and in those days there were many. Then, as soon as I received inquiries about subscribing, I sent out the double-sided mimeographed form below. The questions asked at the top of the form, as I urged potential subscribers to tell me about their experiences, are the same ones I continue asking today, and which I continue to find as fascinating as ever.

 

The form below was slipped as an insert into Issue No. 1, which explains the crossed-out words.

 

Don't be afraid to send me your own replies to any of the questions that interest you, but please do NOT attempt to subscribe by sending $21 to the address on the form, since the magazine is gone and that address itself no longer exists.

Pristine, Long Out-of-Print Issues of B&G for Sale

In 2014, Lee and I realized we would never have funding enough to relaunch Bound & Gagged. We then offered it up for sale, and had a few nibbles, but no serious bites. So we’re now consigned to the idea that the magazine will henceforth live only in history.

 

As we prepare to sell our Bucks County farmhouse and move back to New York City full time (we’ve reached that age), we’re divesting ourselves of as much excess property as possible. Some of that property consists of my personal archive issues of Bound & Gagged, a few
copies of which I set aside after every issue came out. With the exception of issues 16, 35 and 38, which are completely and mysteriously absent from the archive and of which I myself only possess a battered copy or two, I’m selling, for $100 apiece, the rarest of the out-of-print issues, most of which became impossible to find almost as soon as they were published. These Issues are Numbers 1, 8, 13, 14, 15, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and 32. All of the others, through our last issue, No. 106, I’ll sell for $25 apiece plus shipping and handling.

 

Lee suggested I offer to autograph the archive issues I sell, for all who request that, which I’ll be happy to do.

 

Some of the special issues quickly became very rare, too. Photo Album 3 disappeared from view almost as soon as it went on the stands. I’ll sell that almost unfindable issue for $150. For the other rare ones, notably the Bound & Gagged Classics 1, 2 and 3, Pledges & Paddles 1 and 2, and Bondage Recruits, I’m asking $100 apiece. The others: Classic Bound & Gagged 4, Pledges and Paddles 3 and 4, Photo Albums 1 and 2, Tops & Robbers,  Room Servitude and The Bound & Gagged Bedside Companion, I’ll let go for $50 apiece.

 

Shipping and handling for all these issues in the continental U.S. will be, as always, $7.60 for the first item, $2.50 for each additional item included in the same package. They will all be sent insured, unless buyers specifically request that I not insure them.

Hank Made Helpless

Traveling back and forth several times between NYC and PA, this week got away from me, so I neglected the blog. Hope to do better from now on, but I make no promises. In any case, to redeem myself, here's a bunch of photos of a cute guy named Hank Manzini whom my assistant Jonathan and I had a lot of fun with, way back when. For his part, Hank didn't seem to be having a bad time with us, either.

Lost Bondage Stories - 23

Two more stories from the book I never published. The first, Bondage in Lycra,  makes me bound by conscience to advise readers never to allow someone they don't know very well to tie them up in their own home, even if nothing bad happened to this writer when he did. He was lucky.

After running in the park one day in the fall I started a conversation with someone who had been cruising me. The conversation got around to the rangers practicing using handcuffs on each other in the winter when the park was empty and quiet. From there I found out he was into the scene and arrangements were made to meet a few days later.

Hogtied by Sister's Boyfriend

Clean-up time for a change. I’m going through old letters, some from readers who wrote me for publication in B&G, letters I may or may not have published, others from readers who’d been published and with whom I went on to have an extensive correspondence. I’m not sure if I ever published this part of one such reader’s letter, but I enjoyed it a lot on rereading and think you will, too. 

 

HOGTIED BY SISTER’S BOYFRIEND

Yes, I did get my actual start in bondage at the early age of 5; however, I believe it goes back to earlier years than that. I remember having fantasies of being in bondage and tortured by men wearing black leather pants, knee high boots and flowing capes with blood red lining. Interestingly enough, in the later years, I developed a clandestine, macabre fascination, according to my parents, for the Nazis. I coveted pictures of those men; but when found by my parents, they were destroyed.

 

Yes. At the age of five, I was bound, helplessly hog-tied by a handsome local farm boy who was on leave from the U.S. Marines. I was being a typical little brother. He tried bribery which failed to hold my interest long enough to give him the necessary time with my sister. He threatened me repeatedly with being tied up. Finally he excused himself and returned a moment later with rope in his hands.

 

My sister joked about how I was about to get what I deserved. He dragged me across the room where he bound my wrists at my back, my legs together and my ankles up behind me and secured them to my hands. Gladly I submitted to him. He thought it would keep me from being under foot, commenting to my sister that this was the way he kept his baby brother when he became a pest. However, I had other plans. I rolled, twisted in the luxury of the bondage until I reached the necking pair. Little did they know my struggle was a put on. All my sister did was giggle. My sister's boyfriend kept me from reaching them by placing his boots on my ass. Whewl Even now, I can remember the electric charge that went running down his leg to touch my ass.

 

I don't remember how long I was held in bondage, used as a footstool, but I do remember my mother entering the room where my sister and I were held captivated by the Marine. My bondage was explained away as a cowboy and Indian game. Mother seemed satisfied and left the room. Sometime later, I was untied and went happily to bed.

 

 

Johnny Boy Caged

The response to last Saturday's pics of this model was so good that I decided to look through my files on Johnny Boy for more. And whaddaya know, I came up with this bunch in which I tied him in a standing cage and had a lot of fun abusing him. Funny thing was, the tighter I tied him, and the more he pissed and moaned as I wrapped his head amd applied the clamps, the more his cock seemed to be telling me not to stop. Go figure.

A Cowboy's (Bondage) Story

Consider this a New Year's gift to the reader who wrote me within the last month or so, asking if I'd post this story from a real cowboy, which had actually appeared in the first issue of Bound & Gagged—No. 1—dated November/December 1987.

 

This first digest-sized issue consisted not only of responses to my New York Bondage Club questionnaire, but also of letters I myself had exchanged with guys I'd met through classifieds, (and similar correspondences I solicited from friends). The cowboy writing the letters below had responded to my classified ad for bondage buddies in the New York Native. He was a 6'5" Montana native now living on a farm in upstate New York. His spelling and punctuation may not have been the best (though I really dug some of his mistakes, like heart-on for hard-on) but it was clear he was a sane, smart guy, and he really knew what he liked.

 

He and I wrote back and forth several times before I actually flew up to Rochester for a memorable weekend, the first of several. He picked me up at the airport and no sooner did we get onto a lightly trafficked rural road than he pulled his jeep off to the side and tied me up tightly, hand and foot. On arrival at his place, he pulled me out of the jeep, threw me over his shoulder as if I were an old jacket, and carried me into the house where two very hot bondage buddies of his were waiting for us. The four of us had a wonderful weekend, the first of many.

 

Provincial New Yorker that I was, I had never dreamed such goings-on took place in the boonies, but the bondage we got into in Northern New York State was every bit as good as if not better than any I'd ever known in town.—BW
